Marissa J. Vartak MS, FNP-C

Hello, my name is Marissa, and I would be honored to be your primary care provider. As your provider my goal is to manage all of your health care needs- no matter how big or small. I have a great deal of experience managing chronic conditions such as: COPD, heart disease, hypertension, diabetes, arthritis, chronic pain, congestive heart failure, renal disease, depression, anxiety, dementia and much more!
My passion for helping others began at the age of six on the farm where I grew up in Tully, NY. It was a cold winters day when I found a newborn pup lying under its mother. Quickly I sprang into action to save his life by performing chest compressions and yes- mouth to mouth respirations. At that time being only six, I had no idea what else to do, but trusted my instincts (and maybe got a couple tips from my favorite show in the 90s- ER!) Soon, I realized the pup began to gasp, took a deep breath, and I could feel a pulse! While this pup did not make it, it did survive another few days! My passion continued to thrive to help others from that day forward.
The truth is- we are in a world where our healthcare system is changing, it is overwhelmed, and chronic health conditions are being overlooked. This is causing a great rise in hospitalizations and the utilization of urgent cares. In return, the care of all people, all ages, is declining. It is time to get back to taking care of people and managing their entire healthcare needs from day one. While referrals are sometimes necessary there are many health conditions that can be carefully managed in house, saving you from rising healthcare costs, and inconvenience.

Hi! My name is Erin and I am excited to be here at OnCare Family Health. I started my Nursing career in 1998 as a personal care aide, providing help to patients in their homes. I started nursing school in 2000 and worked as a
Student Nurse Assistant until I graduated as a Registered Nurse in 2002 from St. Joseph’s College of Nursing. I went on to earn my BSN and MSN-FNP with a minor in Education from SUNY Upstate in 2008. I have a variety of
health care experience working in the hospital, Family Planning, Pain Management, Home Care and Urgent Care. I also have been teaching nursing to students since 2004 and have not stopped! I look forward to working with you to identify and manage your health care needs.

Michele Sharp, RN
Hello, my name is Michele. I began my career in nursing in 1980 working during school as a student nurses aide, and then as an LPN. After completing school, I worked with acute medical cardiac patients. I continued my nursing career in various places like: medical-surgical, operating room, cath lab, endoscopy, IV therapy, outpatient clinics, case management and home care nursing. I have over 25 years of nursing management experience. I was also inducted into the Sigma Theta Tau Nursing Honor Society.

Hello my name is Neil, I am a Medical Assistant here at On Care Family Health. I have been in health care for nearly 10 years. I have worked in emergency/urgent care medicine as well as sleep disorder medicine. I strive to make patients feel comfortable and well taken care of.
